My one rule is actually: Treat each woman like she is an actual human being. If you do this, then you’ll notice that she talks and has feelings and thoughts, you will successfully connect with her on a human and social level, and you will significantly reduce your chances of raping her. If you try treating her like an actual human being and you feel like it is too complicated, or involves “long and shaky rules”, then I’m afraid that you are exhibiting sociopathic behaviours, and you are at risk of being a rapist.

There’s only one rule: If you didn’t get a yes to do it, don’t do it. All the long and shaky part is countering the excuses people seem to come up with why it’s OK to proceed in the absence of a yes.

Just as the SGU likes to help people build a skeptical tool kit, I think you are doing a great job of presenting beneficial tools in the area of sexism and attitudes towards women in general. If guys were to move through social situations with these examples in mind, I think there would be less frustration and more meaningful communication.

I don’t think so. I’m pretty sure it was at your blog, because I remember the black background and white lettering. There was something like “yes, but not with you,” or “yes, but not here” or “not now”… And I haven’t delved into the comments yet to see if that’s where I read it. I’ll keep looking around.
